Tabs
These tabs are examples that display on a graph window.
Tabs are visual markers that look
like a tab on a file folder. Click a
tab to access its content. When
selected, a tab is highlighted.
Expand and Collapse Buttons

Click the
button to display an
expandable list of features within
a feature set.
Once the list is expanded, the
Collapse
button displays next to
the feature set.
Click the
button to hide the list
from view so that only the feature
set is visible.
Once the list is hidden from view,
the
Expand
button displays next
to the feature set.
Scroll Bars
Horizontal
Scroll Bar
Vertical Scroll Bar
A scroll bar appears on the side
or bottom of a window.
Click the arrows to make the
information displayed scroll in the
indicated direction. You can also
press, hold, and drag the scroll
bar to scroll the information more
quickly.
When you have more information
than can display on the screen,
the scroll bar can be used to
review all the information.
Fields
Required field
The
Last Name field is an example of a required field.
A field is a space allocated for a
particular item of information you
supply by typing information into
the space.
Note: A required field cannot be
blank. You cannot exit a dialog
box until you either add this
information or click CANCEL
.

asterisk (
).
