Address Table Configuration
The Address Table contains the unicast MAC addresses and VLAN identifier
associated with each port (that is, the source port), sorted by MAC address or
VLAN. You can also clear the entire address table, or information associated with a
specific address; or set the aging time for deleting inactive entries. The information
displayed in the Address Table is indicated in the following figure and table.
Parameter Description
Aging Time Time-out period in seconds for aging out dynamically learned forwarding
information.
Range: 10 - 415 secs; default: 300 secs.
Dynamic Address Counts The number of dynamically learned addresses.
Static Address Counts The number of statically configured addresses.
Address Table Sort Key Entries can be sorted by address or VLAN ID.
Address Table The system displays the MAC address of each node, and the port whose
address table includes this MAC address, the associated VLAN(s), and the
address status (i.e., dynamic or static).
New Static Address Use these fields to add or remove a static entry to the address table. Indicate
the address, stack unit, port and VLAN group when adding a new entry.
Add/Remove Adds/removes the selected address.
Clear Table Removes all addresses from the address table.
