FILTER
Mode Meaning
plit Mode The lters are also routed in parallel with 2 poles each, but each lter receives a different set of
signals: Oscillator 1 and the sub-oscillator are sent to lter 1, oscillator 2 (including FM), oscillator 3
and noise are sent to lter 2. The ring modulator is disabled.
There is no difference between Serial 4 and Serial 6 if one of the “analog” lter modes is selected .
Filter Balance •
-64 to +63: Put as simply as possible, this is the relative contribution of each lter to the overall output of the
lter section. Actually a complex set of cross-fades, but the result is highly intuitive: At 64 you can only hear
the output of Filter 1. At 0, both lters contribute equally. At +63 you can only hear the output of Filter 2.
Cutoff Link •
Position Meaning
Off The lter 1 CUTOFF knob only affects lter 1.
On The upper CUTOFF knob also controls lter 2. The lower knob (CUTOFF 2) becomes a bipolar (64 to
+63) offset to lter 1 cutoff instead of an independant value.
