Common Menu
Press this button to enter the Common menu. Here you can adjust 3 parameters from the Oscillator section
which affect the basic performance of the patch.
SoftKnob Parameter Meaning

#3 Transpose UseTransposetoadjusttheoverallpitchinsemitones.Usestepsof12ifyou

onlyscaledinoctaves.
Multi Menu
This is where you will nd all the parameters relating to each Part in Multi mode. Use the Parameter < > keys
to move through the different pages.
For detailed information on these parameters, please refer to the relevant chapter in the reference manual.
Creating a layered/split Multi •
The main thing to remember here is to make sure that each of the Parts is responding to the same MIDI
channel (usually you’ll want this to be channel 01). Having selected the patches you want on each Part with
the Bank and Program parameters, you can create layered performances by leave the Low Key and High
Key parameters at their defaults, or you can split the keyboard into ‘zones’ by adjusting these values ac-
cordingly. Of course it is possible to have a mixture of layers and splits within the same Multi, should you
wish it.
