Installation Sheet

(4) PREPARE THE FIXTURE
1. If you are replacing an existing fixture, disconnect and remove
the old fixture. Expose the supply wiring from the outlet box.
2. Lay the un-assembled fixture on a soft surface and carefully
remove all the packing material.
3. Locate the Metal Collar, just below the Canopy and unscrew it
allowing the Canopy to slide down the Coaxial Cable.
4. Locate the Strain Relief. Loosen the Strain Relief and Wire
Nuts so that the Coaxial Cable is released.
5. Determine the desired length of your fixture. Cut the Coaxial
Cable to the desired length, leaving +/- ½” to make the
necessary power connections.
6. Slide the wire through the hole located at the top of a Glass
Shade.
7. Feed the Coaxial Cable through the Strain Relief and tighten
the screw to ensure that the Coaxial Cable is secure. Using
the supplied Wire Nuts connect the Coaxial Cable to the
Driver Wires.
8. Feed the Black and White Driver Wires (AC Input Wires)
through the designated Hole in the Back Plate. Attach the
Supply Wires to the Fixture Wires in the following manner:
The Black supply wire attaches to the Black fixture wire and
the White supply wire attaches to the White fixture wire.
Secure these connections with supplied Wire Nuts and tape
these connections with U.L Listed electrical tape.
9. Tuck all of the wires into the Junction Box.
10. Secure the Base Plate to the Junction Box with the supplied
Screws. Hold the Canopy up to the Base Plate and secure
with the Metal Collar.
11. Restore electricity and enjoy your new lighting fixture.
CAUTION:
Do not install this fixture closer than 6” from any
curtain or combustible material.
