ABUS technology highlights: Video
WLAN with network cameras
Only a few manufacturers oer this. Almost all ABUS network
cameras oer the option of signal transmission via WiFi. This
makes these models particularly exible, enabling opera-
tion nearly everywhere. Except for the power supply, these
cameras don’t need cables.
IR range setting
For many ABUS cameras, the intensity and beam spread
of the IR LEDs can be manually set. This allows the
required area of illumination to be exibly adapted to the
environment in which surveillance is being carried out.
Objects located very near in the camera’s viewing range can
be captured without ashlight eects.
Plug & Play
Plug & Play means that these products are optimized for fast
installation and immediate use – the TVAC15000 wireless
transmission set has this functionality, for example.
DVR installation wizard
Similar to the QIS technology for cameras, this assistant
makes it easier for you to set up all relevant congurations of
a video surveillance recorder. This saves time and work when
you are putting the video system into operation.
