The NAS is the practical alternative to a standalone recorder. The dierence between
NAS and NVR: A NAS is used solely as a storage medium (suitable for up to 4 S-ATA
hard disk drives), while the NVR is equipped with video outputs and its own so-
ware. Data security is ensured using a 4-bay RAID system. Calling up, displaying and
system control are eected via browser only.
