6.5 Telephone connection (A/B)
6.5.1 Standard
Use the enclosed cable to connect the GSM dialer to an analogue telephone
line. Connect both middle wires (standard: green/red without polarity) to the
A/B connection and plug in to the telephone socket.
Other external devices (e.g. telephone or answering machine) are connected
to A1 or B1. If the GSM dialer begins dialling, then the external devices are
automatically disconnected from the telephone line.
6.5.2 TAE connection
If you possess a TAE-N telephone socket or wish to operate a series-
connected terminal device, then you can wire the system up using the
enclosed RJ11 adapter and the telephone cable.
