Safety instructions • Do not direct steam at people, animals, electrical outlets, or equipment containing electrical components. • Unplug from power outlet when not in use. Do not leave steam unit unattended while plugged in. • Do not use with damaged cord or plug. • Do not use steam unit if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water. • Keep the steam unit away from water; do not allow it to get wet. If unit is wet, do not plug unit into wall socket or turn unit on.

Unpacking your steam cleaner Before using your steam cleaner Remove all packaging and lay out the separate components. Check the steam unit after unpacking for any visual damage such as: • Misaligned or damaged parts • Damage to the main body and separate components • Damage to the plug or cable. If you can see any damage do not use the steam cleaner and refer to page 23 for customer services.
Filling the water tank Always unplug the unit before removing the safety cap. Always make sure the steam control dial is set to “OFF” before removing the water tank cap. Place the steam cleaner on a level surface. Twist the water tank cap anti-clockwise and remove. Fill the measuring jug provided with 200ml of cold tap water. Empty the measuring jug carefully into the water tank and then add a further 150ml of cold water.
Filling the water tank Refit the water tank cap, twisting it clockwise and tightening. Re-filling the water tank At any stage during use, you can refill the water tank. It is advised to turn the steam dial anti-clockwise to the “OFF” position. Read the note below before re-following the filling instructions. Note: It is recommended to empty the water tank before every refill. This will prevent issues including overfilling and build up of scale.
Assembling your steam cleaner Attaching steam mop tools The main accessories required for the steam mop function include the extension pole and the steam mop head. Accessories that can be used with the steam mop include: the cotton cloth, steam glider and the mop pad. Refer to the accessories section on pages 11-17 for assembly and usage instructions regarding each specific part. Extension Pole The extension pole connects to the main body of the steamer (fig.1.
Assembling your steam cleaner Attaching steam cleaner tools The mop head is suitable for cleaning large washable floor and wall areas. It can be used with or without the microfibre pad. Clean sensitive surfaces, i.e. wood (sealed), laminate (sealed) etc. with the pad attached. Microfibre Pad: The two pads provided are designed to clean scuffs and stains from hard floors. The cleaning effect of a pad can be improved by turning and changing regularly.
Assembling your steam cleaner Attaching steam cleaner tools The two main accessories for this product are the jet nozzle adaptor and the utility head attachment. They attach to the steam unit in the same manner. NOTE: The utility head comes pre-assembled with the small cloth and squeegee attached. Jet Nozzle Adaptor: Attach to the steam nozzle by aligning with the main unit and pressing the nozzles together until the release button clicks in place.
Turn over the small cloth and utility head assembly, and locate the squeegee + squeegee Hook the squeegee on to the assembly ‘over’ the cloth, and push down until it ‘clicks’ in to position. The squeegee is now assembled and ready to use. The squeegee is ideal for cleaning windows, mirrors, tiles and other smooth surfaces. When cleaning windows, you may need to use the squeegee to wipe the area over after steaming in order to avoid smearing.
Assembling your steam cleaner Attaching small tools to the jet nozzle If the cleaning effect of steam alone is not ideal for your specific task, there are 2 small tools included to support cleaning: the round brush and the crevice brush. These tools are ideal for cleaning hard to reach areas. Attach to the jet nozzle adaptor as follows: • Push the small tool onto the nozzle adaptor aligning the arrows – fig. 3. • To remove, simply pull the small tool off after use.
Using your steam cleaner Operating the steam cleaner Before you plug the appliance in, check the water tank is full. If it is not, refer to page 8. Plug the mains plug into a socket and switch the cleaner on by turning the steam dial clockwise between MIN/MAX. The red power indicator light will illuminate to indicate the unit is powered and heating. If the light does not illuminate, refer to page 19. The steam cleaner should take approximately 30 seconds to heat up to steam temperature.
Using your steam cleaner Steam mopping Before using the steam unit as a mop, attach the following parts: • The extension pole in the top of the main unit (fig 1, page 10.) • Place the microfibre pad over the steam mop head (fig 3, page 11.) • Push the steam mop head into the steam unit until it clicks into place (fig 2, page 10.) Tilt the mop back at a 45° angle. Use a steady back and forth motion over the floor you are mopping.

These are only a guideline for using your steamer, you will likely discover a wide variety of other uses around you home. For further information, each accessory has a brief explanation of what it is most suited for within the instruction manual.
Cleaning and Care Before you clean the appliance, disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket. To clean the exterior of the device, use a damp, soft cloth and mild detergent. NEVER IMMERSE THE STEAM UNIT IN WATER. When wiping off the main body, do not allow moisture in the area around the indicator light or steam dial. Wash non-electrical accessories in warm soapy water and allow to dry thoroughly before reuse. If the steam unit is damaged, contact the Customer Service helpline.
