4 Getting Started
Powering on the laser scanner
Pressing the scanner's Power button will start the boot process, which will be indicated by the
scanner LEDs blinking yellow.
If power is supplied by the battery only and its charge state is too low to start the scanner, the
scanner LEDs will blink orange.
When the laser scanner is ready, the LEDs stop blinking and illuminate yellow and the Home screen
of the scanner's operating software will appear on the integrated touch screen.
The laser scanner can be operated to its full extent by simply touching the elements on the screen
with your fingers. You can also use a stylus, if you prefer.
