Tip: before selecting a target you could do a lap times compare between your own best run and of your target
to see where he made mistakes and lost time etc.
Virtual direct Opponents mode is for serious racers who want to improve their racing stress control just like in
real racing and want a real challenge! In fact, racing with virtual direct opponents is the most realistic event
racing experience VRC Pro has to offer today. You are racing with opponents from your own heat or main final
even though they may be from the other side of the planet and time zone difference would never allow you to
race together! A real racing experience with all the thrills and stress that comes with it.
Opponents are only available when the round has heats or main finals (ABC) and at least one racer must have
posted a result before you. When you use this mode you can select your opponents from your own heat or
main final to race against. Of course you cannot crash with your opponents, they are just there to be on the
track while you race. When you are able to beat them in your race then your result will be better and you
improve your position.
Note: keep in mind that racing with opponents may affect your frame rate so we advise to always do a test run
with these opponents to make sure that your own performance is not affected.
Round modes
A Normal round mode means that you race all together as one big group.
An ABC round mode means that you will be divided in groups of 10 called ‘heats’ or ‘Mains’. The fastest 10
drivers end up in Heat 1 or in the A-Main, nbrs. 11-20 in Heat 2 or the B Main etc. Your start position during
this round will correspond with your initial position in your heat or Main.
Pre-qualify round
In this mode you start from a random start position in the pit lane and use the qualify start and timing system.
Usually all racers who have raced in this round will proceed to the next round.
You can select from 2 race options:
- Solo
- Target (select from all participants)
