CrossFire Mode: (2).
To enable CrossFire Mode, you will need to:
• Prepare one CrossFire! Edition graphics card and one CrossFire! compatible graphics card.
• Make sure the graphics card driver supports the ATI CrossFire! technology. Download the
latest driver from ATI website (www.ati.com
).
• Make sure your power supply unit is sufficient to provide the minimum power required.
1. You need a CrossFire! Edition ATI
graphics card to enable the CrossFire mode.
Note that there’s a unique CrossFire!
DMS-59! connector on the bracket of a
CrossFire! Edition graphics card.
2. Insert the CrossFire! Edition graphics
card into PCIEXP2 (Master) slots on the
motherboard.
3. You also need a CrossFire! compatible
PCI Express graphics card for the slave slot.
Note that there’s no CrossFire! DMS-59!
connector on the bracket of the slave card.
4. Insert the CrossFire! compatible PCI
Express graphics into the PCIEXP1 (Slave) slot.
