10.2 Simple programming of a relay with double IR channels
The Andromeda IR-REC8 BED can be programmed so that a relay can be activated
by two different GewaLink channels. This can be used, for example, to have a button
“down” which lowers the foot and head simultaneously. In this case, program the two
relays with a second GewaLink channel that controls this function.
1. Press the selected button on the IR transmitter for the channel that is to be
programmed as the first channel, and at the same time, press the programming
button for the selected relay on the receiver.
2. Wait until the indicator lamp flashes three times.
3. Keep pressing the programming button for the selected relay. Press the button
on the IR transmitter for the channel that is to be programmed as the second
channel.
4. Wait until the indicator lamp flashes three times.
5. Release the programming button of the receiver and the button on the IR
transmitter.
6. Check the function by pressing the selected buttons on the IR transmitter.
11. Advanced programming
The Andromeda IR-REC8 BED is designed to be easy to program, and has a simple
and an advanced programming mode. Follow the instructions below for advanced
programming.
11.1 Programming channels
Do as follows to re-program:
1. Press programming button P.
2. Press programming button 1.
3. Press the programming button for the
desired relay. The indicator lamp for the
selected relay is lit.
4. Press the button on the IR transmitter for
the channel that is to be programmed until
the indicator lamp flashes three times.
5. Repeat step 1-4 to program the other relays
in the same way.
6. Check the functions by pressing the
selected buttons on the IR transmitter.
If you are not satisfied with the selected channel (button on the IR transmitter) or
function, simply repeat the procedure.
Note! The Andromeda IR-REC8 BED can only be used with monostable function.
