The HYBRID-Window Closer - the combination of spring- and
electric drive
The new closing system combines a spring with an electrical drive. By opening
the window a spring mechanism will be tensioned. This spring mechanism
is connected via a gear box to a small electric motor powered by two LR6/
AA-batteries. An intelligent, very little power using electronic gives the
order to initiate the automatic closing operation at the pre-set time.
The stored energy resulting of the tensioned spring will be used to finish the
closing command almost until the end (up to 90 %). Because the spring drive
looses energy during the closing operation the motor powered by two
batteries takes over the pressing force at the end of the closing operation.
