You may select several different pages, or a number of consecutive pages, or all of
the batch pages in a row:
To select a number of consecutive pages, hold down the SHIFT key and
click the first and then the last page of the group you want to select.
To select several pages, hold down the CTRL key and click the desired
pages.
To select all batch pages, activate the Batch window and choose the
Select All item in the Edit menu or press CTRL+A.
Creating a New Batch
To create a new batch:
Select New Batch item in the File menu, or
Click on New Batch button ( ).
Opening a Batch
ABBYY FineReader automatically creates a new batch at startup.
Note: To tell ABBYY FineReader to open the last open batch at startup, ccheck Open the
last batch at startup on the General tab of the Options dialog (Tools>Options).
To open another batch:
1. Select Open Batch item in the File menu or click the Open Batch button
( ). The Open Batch dialog will open.
2. Select the appropriate folder in the Open Batch dialog.
When you open a batch, ABBYY FineReader automatically closes and saves the
previous batch. Prior to exiting the program, save any new batch that might
be needed in the future.
Batches can be opened directly from Windows Explorer:
Rightclick the batch folder (represented by the icon) and select the
Open with FineReader item in the local menu. ABBYY FineReader will
launch and open the chosen batch.
