7. Do not immerse charger in water or
any other liquid.
WARNING!Don’t allow any
liquid to get inside charger. Electric
shock may result. To facilitate the
cooling of the battery pack after use,
avoid placing the charger or battery
pack in a warm environment such as in
a metal shed, or an uninsulated trailer.
CAUTION! Never attempt to
open the battery pack for any reason.
If the plastic housing of the battery
pack breaks or cracks, return to an
authorised service centre for recycling;
do not put it into further use.
While Operating
1. Always turn the unit off when
operation is delayed, when setting
the unit down or when moving from
one working area to the next. Make
sure all moving parts come to a
complete stop.
2. Switch the product off immediately
if you are disturbed while working
with it and when other people enter
the working area. Always let the
product come to complete stop
before putting it down.
3. Do not overwork yourself. Take
regular breaks to ensure
concentrated work and full control
over the product. Lack of rest and
fatigue can cause accidents and
damage.
4. Do not try to grasp or remove
trimmings when the product is
running. Only remove trimmings
when the product is switched off and
disconnected from the power supply.
5. Never hold the product by the
guard.
6. Never use the product standing on
steps ora ladder. Do not work over
shoulder height.
7. Do not overload the product.
8. If the tool start to vibrate
abnormally, immediately switch it off
and check for any damage.Excessive
vibration can cause injury.
9. Use the product only in daylight or
good artificial light.
10.Check the hedge for foreign objects
before operation, e.g. wire fences.
11.Take care that the cutting device
does not come into contact with wire
or other metal objects.
12.Hold the hedge trimmer properly,
e.g. with both hands if two handles
are provided. Loss of control can
cause personal injury.
Trimming Tips
1. Checking the battery charge level.
The battery pack charge level in
indicated by the charge state LED.
Press the battery level display button
for state of charge display on the
battery pack.
2. This tool must not be used as a lever
to lift, move or split objects.
