- Select the zoom lens that will bc u sc d most frequently with the
camera: preferably
th e lens in yo ur kil with the Jongest zoom
ratio. Moum the lcns on
th c camcra and tighten the Jens lock
ring until the cutouts În the ring gÎve full access to the three allen
screws.
- Look through the viewfinder and set th e zoom of the lens to its
full telephoto position (the
lo ngesl focal leng th ). Focus the lens
on the
target and reposition the camera body sa thal the center of
the viewing
sereen cros s- hair exac ll y matches th e cemer of the
target.

Sct the zoom to co mpl ete wide-angle position and nOl ice that
th e center of the larget with relation 10 the viewing screen cross-
hair will track off in one direc ti on. Without moving th e camera
steady. reposition
th e lens and lens port ring untiJlhe targel is
centered. Us in g an allen L wrenc h, carefull y tighten the three
screws enough
10 secure th e lens port ring.
_ Sct th e zoom lens to telepholo position a nd check thal the cross-
es remain cenlercd. [f this is n ot the case. reposition the body,
loosen the screws s
li ghtly and repeallhe abave procedure. Vou
will find that, wi th each adjustment. you will come cJoser 10 the
correct
Jens eenlering.
When

the entire zoom range, finnly secure
