Starting an Announcement
You want to address internal subscribers directly via their loudspeaker – where available – ,
without waiting for a reply (similar principle to that of an intercom system).
Requirement: It is essential that the internal subscriber has not barred his phone against
announcement (for configuration see the Chapter "Do not disturb/Call waiting/Intrusion/
Announcement/Forward", page 50).
Reject
Rejecting the call:
Foxmenu > Press Reject Foxkey or End key.
Þ
You remain connected with your first call partner. The call-waiting party
hears the busy tone.
Exit
Ending a current call:
Foxmenu > Press the End call Foxkey.
Þ
1. The first call is terminated. You are now connected with the party who ini-
tiated the call waiting.
Pick up the handset.
Announcement
Foxmenu > Press Announcement Foxkey.
<Destination>
Select destination (Subscriber or Group) and confirm Ok with the Foxkey.
<Phone number>
Enter the phone number and confirm with the Ok Foxkey.
Þ
Subscriber is made aware of the announcement by an acoustic signal. The
display reads Announcement: You can now talk.
Note:
You can also search in the phone book, last-number redial list or call list for the
phone number of the person you are looking for.
Or:
Press Foxmenu > Foxkey Menu.
Scroll to Call features and press the Foxkey.
Press Announcement, select destination, and confirm Ok with the Foxkey.

The display shows the number of the phone from which you last picked
up a call.
Confirm Ok with the Foxkey or pick up the handset.
