Installation

This chapter describes how to connect and charge the battery of

your phone. You will also find procedures for installation and

maintenance of your phone.

Note: If you have a DT412 or a DT422 phone, you need

to know what version of the phone you are using, as only

certain battery packs are compatible with each version.

Check the phone label to see the phone version. If the

label starts with “RAID2-” your phone is a version two

phone.

ATEX battery and charging information (DT432)

• It is only allowed to use the special ATEX battery pack

together with the DT432 ATEX phone. Using a standard

battery pack will void the ATEX approval.

• The DT432 ATEX phone may only be charged in the ATEX

desk top charger II and in rack charger II.
