Common Hold

Common hold is a feature that allows you to pick up a call, that is

put on hold, from any other monitoring telephone, provided that

your telephone is MNS represented on that telephone.

Note: A call that is connected to a conference member

cannot be put on common hold.

Initiate common hold:

ÕÔ Line Press the ongoing call Line key.

The key lamp flashes slowly and the display shows the call on hold.

Note: You can also press Hold (see display).

d Replace the handset.

Pick up a call on common hold:

When a call is put on common hold, the monitoring key on the

represented extension flashes.

ÖÔ Jim Press the flashing Monitoring key

z call the extension where common hold was initiated.

Then make a call pick-up either by pressing the function key or by

suffix dialing.

Refer back a call on common hold:

ÖÔ Line Press the Line key where the call is on common hold.

You are now reconnected to the ongoing call.

Note: A call that is put on common hold cannot be referred

back if it was answered by a monitoring extension.
