Locking your phone
You need to leave your desk and want to ensure that no-one can alter your phone's
settings, look at your private data, or make outside calls from your phone.
You can lock your phone with a PIN consisting of two to ten digits. You can change it
via menu (see the chapter "Changing the PIN", page 80) or with the function code *47
(see "User’s Guide Function Codes" on the Aastra 400

Note:
The date and time are never given in the global greeting and personal greetings.
<Presence profile>
Press the function key for <Presence profile>.
Or: The presence profile can also be selected using the menu: Menu > Settings
> Presence.
Modify
Select the profile you want and press the Modify Foxkey.
Voice Mail greeting
Scroll to Voice Mail greeting and press the Modify Foxkey.
<Setting value>
Select the required setting and confirm with the Ok Foxkey.
The setting is stored. Your caller hears the selected absence information, fol-
lowed, if applicable, by date and time.
Menu
Press the Menu Foxkey.
Settings
Scroll to Settings and press the Select Foxkey.
General
Scroll to General and press the Select Foxkey.
Lock
Scroll to Barring and press the Modify Foxkey.
You are prompted to enter your PIN.

Enter the PIN and confirm with the Ok Foxkey.
