Installation Instructions: For Pendants
CAUTION: FAILURE TO INSTALL THIS FIXTURE PROPERLY MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL
INJURY OR DEATH AND PROPERTY DAMAGE.
We recommend this be installed by a licensed electrician. This product must be installed in accordance
with applicable installation code(s), by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the
product and the hazards involved.*

A-Black Wire
B-Ground Wire
C-White Wire
D-Box Machine Screws
E-Green Ground Screw
F-Nipple
G-Crossbar
H-Pendant Cord
I-Crimping Strain Relief
J- Canopy
K- Set Screw
L- Cord Grip
To Install
1. Turn off power at the main breaker box prior to starting installation.
2. Using two box machine screws (D) fasten the crossbar to the electric box.
3. Slide cord grip (L) with threaded nipple (F) and canopy (J) over the pendant
cord (H).
4. Feed pendant cord (H) through center hole in crossbar (G) and secure by crimping cord with strain relief
(I).
5. Connect fixture wires to the supply wires in outlet box--black to black (A), white to white (C). Connect
branch circuit ground wire (B) to green ground screw (E) on crossbar (G).
WARNING: Never connect ground wire to white or black power supply wires.
6. Place canopy (J) over outlet box and secure by turning cord grip (L) with threaded nipple (F) into center
of crossbar (G). Tighten set screw (K) on cord grip(L).
7. With power still off, insert light bulbs.
Caution: Do not exceed maximum wattage noted on fixture.
NOT SUITABLE FOR TUNGSTEN HALOGEN
8. Restore electricity at main breaker.
