CHECKGA SSUPPLYPRESSURE:
1) Closethemanualgasinletshutoffvalveonthe
gassupplyline.
2) Openafaucet.Theunitshouldturnonandthe
gasinthepipelineshouldpurge.Leavethe
faucetontokeeptheunitrunninguntilitshuts
downduetolackofgas,andthenshutthe
faucetoff.Ignoreanyerrorcodesthatmay
occurat
thistime.
3) Removethescrewforthepressureportlocated
onthegasinletshownontheright.
4) Connectamanometertothepressureport.
5) Slowlyre‐openthemanualgasvalve.Checkto
seethattherearenogasleaks.
6) Opensomeofthefixturesthat
usethehighestflowratetoactivate.
7) Checktheinletgaspressure.Appropriatepressuresarelistedinthespecificationpagein
theinstallationmanual.
PURGETHEGA SLINEOFAIR:
1) Theunitshouldnotberunningduringthisprocedure.Turnoffpowertotheunit.
2) Turnthegasvalvetotheoffposition(perpendiculartothegasline).
3) Loosenthegaslineontheunitsideofthegasvalve(ataflarefittingorunion).
4) Next
openthegasvalveveryslightlyuntilyoucansmellgasbywaftingtheairtowardsyour
nose.Thismeansanyairpreviouslyinthegaslinehasbeenremovedandonlygasremains.
5) Turngasbackoffandre‐tightengasline.
6) Turngasbackonand
checkforleaks.Spraywater&dishsoapmixtureontofittings.No
bubblesmeanstherearenoleaks.
CHECKINGMANIFOLDGASPRESSURE:
1) Ensuretheunitisnotinoperation.
2) Removethescrewoffthemanifoldport.
3) Connectamanometertothemanifoldportusing
atube.Ensurethatthisconnectionissecure
enoughtopreventgasleak.
4) Runwaterthroughtheunittoactivateits
operation.Itissuggested
thatalargeamountof
flowisdrawninordertopreventoverheating
duringmaxburn.Ifpresenceofagasleakis
detected,immediatelyshutofftheunitand
inspectthetube/manifoldconnection;otherwise,
proceedontothenextstep.
5) Tocheckthemanifoldgaspressureduringmaximumcombustion,
pressandholdthe“MAX”
buttononthecomputerboard.Tocheckthemanifoldpressureduringminimum
combustion,pressandholdthe“MIN”buttononthecomputerboard.Thedesired
pressuresarelistedinthespecificationtableatthebeginningofthismanual.
6) Ifthemanifoldpressuresdo
notmatchupwiththoselisted,adjustthemanifoldpressure
(seethefollowingprocedure).
