10) COMBUSTIONCHAMBER
‐Inspectthecombustionchamberwithabrightflashlight.
a.  RemovetheexhaustventingfromtopoftheunitfortheDVmodel
b.  Placeonetowelatthebottomofthecombustionchamber,protectingthedischargeofthefan
(fanport),aswellasdrapeanothertowelcoveringthesquare
openingofthecombustion
chamber(topreventairbornede bris)
c.  Turnontheshopvacuumandvacuumallofthedirtfromthecombustionchamber.
d.  Atthesametime,withtheaircompressor,blowairdownthroughthetopoftheheatexchanger
throughtheventcollartoremoveadditional
contaminants.
11) HEATEXCHANGER
‐Ifthereisawhite,crustysolidbuildupintheheatexchanger,pleasecontactthe
technicalservicedepartmentforfurtherinstruction.
12) SENSORS
–
a.  CleantheflamesensorandAFRwithsandpaper,thoroughlytoabrightfinish.Itisimportantto
beverygentlewiththesensorrodswhilecleaningthem,astheywilleasilybendoutofplace.
Theiroriginalpositionrelativetotheburnerneedstobeunalteredinorder
tofunctionproperly.
13) REASSEMBLE
‐Reassembletheunitinreverseorder.Keypointstoremember:
a.  Inspectallofthegaskets.
b.  BeawareoftheblackO‐ringandmeshfilteronthegasvalveinlet.
c.  Reconnecttheplastictubefromthegasvalvetothebottomofthecombustionchamber.
d.  Reattach
allcomponentsthatthemanifoldscrewssecureintheirplaces.
e.  Reconnectallwirestothecomputerboardandanyotherclips.
f.  Donothaveanyscrewsleftover.
