Procedureforcleaningthefan,burner,FlameSensorandAFR,asusedbyallServiceagents.
1) TOOLS
‐Gatherthefollowingmaterialstogether:
a. Adegreaserinapumpactionbottle,Sandpaper,PhilipsScrewDriver,Needle‐NosedPliers,Duct
Tape,Flashlight,AirCompressor,ShopVacuum,3xTowels

2) POWER
‐Disconnectpowertoyourunitbyeitherunpluggi ngitfromthewalloutlet,orbythecircuit
breaker,dependingonthesetup.The3‐digitLEDdisplaywillnotbeilluminatedinstandbymode

3) GAS
‐Shutoffthegassupply.

4) FRONTCOVER
‐Removethefrontcover.

5) COMPUTERBOARD
‐
a. Removethethreescrews,allwireclipconnections,andmovethecomputerboardoutofthe
way.
b. Disconnectthethreerodsonthefrontfaceoftheburner:flamesensor(orangewire),AFR
(yellowwire)andigniter(blackwire)

6) MANIFOLDPLATE/GASVALVEASSEMBLY
‐
a. Removethemanifoldplatescrews.TheyarewidepanheadPhilipsscrews,locatedonthe
edgesofthestampedmetalplateofthegasmanifold

b. Removethebrassgasvalvescrew.
c. UndotheclipholdingtheEasy‐Linkwiresinplace.
d. Disconnecttheclearplastictubefrombeneaththecombustionchamber
e. Gentlyliftupthemanifold&gasvalveassemblytodislodgeitfromthegasinlet.
i. Donotlose
thesmallgasfilterscreen.
