CLEANINGTHERODASSEMBLY
1) TOOLS
‐Gatherthefollowingmaterialstogether:
a. Sheetof100GritSandpaper
b. #2PhilipsScrewDriver
c. Flashlight
2) POWER
‐Disconnectpowertoyourunitbyeitherunpluggi ngitfromthewalloutlet,orbythecircuit
breaker,dependingonthesetup.The3digitLEDonthePCBshouldnotbelit.
3) FRONTCOVER
‐Removethefrontcover.Itisheldonbytwoscrewsonthetopcornersofthe
tanklessunit.
4) RODASSEMBLY

a. Locatetheblack,yellow,andorangewireslocatedinthecenteroftheunit.
b. RemovethethreePhillipsheadscrewsholdingthepanelinplace.
c. Pulltheassemblyout.Caution,allpiecesareseparate.Becarefultonotlosethesightglass.
5) SENSORS
Itisimportanttobeverygentlewiththesensorrodswhilecleaningthem,astheywill
easilybendoutofplace.Theiroriginalpositionrelativetotheburnerneedstobeunalteredto
functionproperly.
a. Cleantheflamesensorwith100gritsandpaper,thoroughlytoabright
finish.
b. Cleantheairfuelratiorodwith100gritsandpaper, thoroughlytoabrightfinish.
6) REASSEMBLE
‐Reassembletheunitinreverse
ordersightglass,gasket,rods,andmetalcover.
Keypointstoremember:
a. Connectall3wiresonfrontofburner.
b. Inspectallofthegaskets.
