Do not install the water heater or vent
termination next to a dryer or dryer vent. The
water heater environment must be free from
any source of airborne debris that can be
trapped inside the water heater.

Water heater vent terminator must be at least 2 ft.
(61 cm) away from an inside corner.
WARNING FOR INSTALLATIONS
• Do not install the water heater and its termination where water,
debris or flammable vapors may get into the water heater and
flue terminal. This may cause damage to the heater and void the
warranty.
• Do not have the vent terminal pointing toward any opening into a
building.
• Do not locate your heater in a pit or location where gas and water
can accumulate.
