VENT TERMINATION
VENTING
MULTIPLE HEATERS
(When installed as a Category I Appliance)
For larger applications, Genesis water heaters can
be commonly vented together either in a tapered
manifold or constant size manifold. (Follow National
Fuel Gas Code requirements for sizing and
installation.)
Vent Terminations Installation Clearances Per Manufacturers Recommendations -
Sidewall
1. Do not exhaust over a public walkway.
2. Exhaust 6 feet horizontally from gas or electric meter and 48" below or 24" above.
3. Exhaust a minimum of 48" from any soffit or eve vent.
