Creating Titles with Avid Marquee
If you need to create paragraph breaks, press Shift+Enter (Windows) or
Shift+Return (Macintosh). Pressing only Enter or Return creates a line
break, not a paragraph break, so all text is formatted as a single paragraph.
To change the leading in a paragraph:
1. Select the Text tool, and then do one of the following:
 To adjus t lea ding in a singl e par agrap h, click in the paragr aph.
 To adjus t lea ding in more tha n one para graph, sele ct te xt within
each of the paragraphs you want to adjust.
 To adjus t lea ding for a ll t he te xt in a text box, click in the text box,
and press Ctrl+A (Windows) or Command+A (Macintosh).
2. To incre ase leading, p ress Alt+Do wn A rrow (Wind ows) or
Option+Down Arrow (Macintosh).
3. To decre ase leading, p ress Alt+Up Arro w (Window s) or Optio n+Up
Arrow (Macintosh).
Decreasing the lead-
ing reduces the space
between lines of text.
