4. Preparation Before Use
4-1 Installation Site
When installing the instrument, consider "General Precautions" appearing in an earlier part of the
instruction manual.
4-2 Power Supply
The instrument can be operated using an AC adapter or battery.
When an AC adapter is used:
1. Connect the supplied power cable to the
AC adapter. Insert the plug on the other
end of the power cable into an electrical
outlet.
2. Insert the AC adapter cable into the AC
adapter jack on the rear of the
instrument.
Caution
Use the specified power cable and AC adapter only.
