10. CALIBRATION
Adjusts the scale for accurate weighing. Calibrate the scale in the following cases.
 When the scale is first installed.
 When the scale has been moved.
 When the ambient environment has changed.
 For regular calibration.
Note: The Legal for Trade models can not be re-calibrated if they have been sealed.
10.1. Calibration Mode
 The calibration mode has the following three functions.
• Gravity acceleration correction
• Calibration using a weight
• Restoring the factory set values
 How to enter the calibration mode
Method 1 :
1. Make sure that the scale is in the weighing mode.
2. Touch and hold the SAMPLE switch until the gravity acceleration value
(in this example, "9.7985") appears and release the switch.
Note: The above operation is disabled for the Legal for Trade models.
Method 2 :
1. Make sure that the scale is in the weighing mode.
2. Loosen the two screws on the switch
cover and open the switch cover. The
calibration (CAL) switch is located inside.
3. Press the CAL switch. The scale
displays the gravity acceleration value (in
this example, "9.7985").
