Q16 What are the V-Server startup options?
A16 By adding options following the V-Server startup command, the corresponding operations (such as
automatic termination or log saving) become available.
Options
*1 Windows dialup settings should be made in advance.
*2 In minutes
*3 Location of the text file and the file name
C:\Program Files\V-Server\(project name)_Log.txt
Each time the above is executed, the log is saved additionally.
Setting
Executing [C:\PROGRA~1\V-Server\vserver.exe] starts V-Server.*
Add necessary options following this command.
* As default, V-Server is installed at [C:\Program Files\V-Server]. If installed in a different location, the
command will be [(installation folder)\vserver.exe].
Setting example
In the example below, the V-Server installation location is at [C:\Program Files\V-Server].
♦ Project designation
Opening the [text.vpr] project in the [C:\Program Files\V-Server\Projects] folder:
C:\PROGRA~1\V-Server\vserver.exe “C:\Program Files\V-Server\Projects\test.vpr”
♦ Dialup connection
Dialup connection name “aaa”
C:\PROGRA~1\V-Server\vserver.exe /D aaa
Option Function
“(project file path)” Opens the specified project file (.vpr).
\D (dialup connection name) Performs the specified dialup connection.

) Terminates V-Server when a specified time has elapsed from its start.
\L Saves the contents of the log viewer in the text file.
