Q11 I want to use alarm monitoring function, but the option [Alarm Monitor Setting] is inactive.

A11 Check the points below.

• In the [Property] dialog box for the monitored device, is the setting for [Reference Screen Data] correct?

If no setting is made, the [Alarm Setting] button is inactive. Proceed to the selection of screen data

using the [Select] button.

• Does the reference screen data contain the alarm function setting?

Check to see the [Buffering Area Setting] dialog box associated with the screen data. If [Alarm Function]

is selected for [Sampling Method], alarm monitoring is executable during sampling. If any other options

are selected for [Sampling Method], the [Alarm Setting] button stays inactive. Make the alarm function

setting on V-SFT.

This button is inactive because no

reference screen data is set.
