Q1 How many monitored devices can be registered?
A1 A maximum of 65,535 monitored devices can be registered.
Notes
♦ An appropriate number of monitored devices to be registered
If the monitor polling interval is set to 5 seconds (default), up to twenty monitored devices
*1
are appropriate.
The number, however, will vary depending on the settings of V-Server (such as tag, logging, event
monitoring) or whether or not the remote mode is executed.
*1 The time required to read out 50 words of PLC memory is 150 - 200 ms.
Polling at 5-second intervals (for instance) will be executable at a maximum of 25 monitored devices from the
equation: 5000 ms/200 ms = 25.
(Experiments using up to 16 monitored devices have been conducted by us.)
