Q10 Are macro commands executable in the remote mode?
A10 In the remote mode, only macro commands for switch ON and OFF are available. Any other macro
commands are not available.
Notes:
• SYS commands and indirect designations are not executable by switch ON and OFF macro commands.
• When using the internal memory for switch macro commands, the [Remote Monitor Setting] dialog box
should be set on V-Server.
♦ Procedure
1) On V-Server, select the monitored device that executes switch macro commands.
2) From the [Edit] menu, select [Remote Monitor Setting]. The [Remote Monitor Setting] dialog box is
displayed.
3) Click the [Detail] button. The [Remote Operation in Macro] menu is displayed.
4) This menu takes effect only when the internal memory is used for macro commands. Select an
option appropriate for your purpose.
• [Read Internal Memory]
Macro commands will be executed by reading the internal memory of the monitored device.
• [Write Internal Memory]
The result of the execution of macro commands will be written to the internal memory of the
monitored device.
