TELLUS (Ethernet detail setting)
♦ [Local Port Setting]
Set a TELLUS port number, etc.
• In a case where a local port is set in the network table (screen data), check [ Use Network Table]
and enter the table number.
• In a case where no local port is set in the network table (screen data), make a setting in this dialog.
♦ [PLC COM Port]
•[ Specify Port No.]
Check this box if [Open setting] has been used for port number setting on the PLC side.
On the [Network parameter Ethernet open setting] screen to be opened from [Open settings] on the
PLC programming software, see the number specified for [Dest. port No.] (in hexadecimal). Enter
the above number in decimal form.
If [Automatic open UDP port] has been used for port number setting, leave the box [Specify Port No.]
unchecked.
• [ Use Monitor Registration]
Check this box when using the monitor registration function of the PLC.
In the above case, all the settings except for the IP address in the network table take effect. As for the
IP address, the address set in the [Control Panel] of the computer takes effect.
• With [Specify Port No.] checked, the port number set here is used for communications with the
PLC. The port number specified for the local port (the network table) is used for communications
with TELLUS, V-series, or your PC.
• With [Specify Port No.] unchecked, the port number specified for the local port (the network table) is
used for every communication.
