20.11 “HTTP URL test” aka Intranet test
Http test (Sonar) and Http URL test (Intranet) serve different purposes. While the former is
close to ftp test with detailed download measurements, the latter merely checks the
availability and success of the page download.
Typically intranet pages contain dynamic elements. Http download against Sonar brings fixed
size downloads thus providing tools for analysis.
To run the Intranet test:
1. Select an access point from the pull-down menu
2. Select the Eye’s IP address (DHCP or static)
a. If static, enter the (1) local IP address, (2) local netmask, and (3) gateway
3. Choose URL from the box
a. To add a URL
i. Write a well-formed and proper address to the input box
