This option reflects how the user interaction looks like when certificate package install is being
used. In case of non-package install the script asks for path to the certificate container and the
password.
The script continues:
Validating archive..
Archive valid.
Extracting files..
Extracting passwords..
Finished.
The GUI client may be started from the install directory with the script named
run_client.sh but there is no desktop icon because of lack of generic support for desktop
icons in linux distributions.
8.7 Carat GUI install (Windows)
The Windows install is a typical for Windows environment: the installer comes as a single
executable file that launches a dialog-based install sequence. When the installer file is moved
to Windows file system, the operating system recognizes it as an installer file.
Step 1: Execute Carat Client installer
A double-click on the icon launches the following panel:
