method of reliable underground splice protection.
Specially designed plastic insulator tube comes pre-
packaged containing gel. Just slide your connection
(Scotchlok Y or R Connectors only) into the insulator
tube, close and bury. With 3M Direct Bury Splice Kits,
there’s no mixing, no mess. DBY & DBR are to be used
on connections of 30 Volts maximum. DBY-6 & DBR-6
are UL Listed up to 600 volts. They are also UL Listed for
submersion and rain tight situations.
