Generalmaintenance
Replacingprinterpaper
Whenprinterpaperrunsout,usethefollowingproceduretoinstallanewrollofpaper:
1.TurninductionsystempowerOFF.
2.Ifnecessary,removeanycoversorcomponents
obstructingaccesstotheprinterassembly.
3.Locatetwopins(approx.5in.longeach)mounted
nearthebaseoftheoutsidepaperholder.Theyare
connectedbya0.75in.longspring.
4.Gentlyliftuptheupperpinuntiltheoutsidepaper
holderdisconnectsfromthepaperspindle.
5.Opentheprinterbymovingthereleaselever0.25in.
clockwise.
6.Removeanypaperintheprinterandthenremovethe
oldpapercorefromthespindle.
7.Installthenewpaperrollonthespindlesothepaper
willunwindfromthetop,thenreconnecttheoutside
paperholder.
8.Threadthefrontedgeofthepaperunderthetension
barandtheninsertitapprox.3in.intotheprinter.
9.Closetheprinter.
10.ReplaceanycoversorcomponentsremovedinStep2.
11.Powerontheinductionsystemandruntestprints
beforereturningthesystemtoservice.

Cleaningsystemmonitors
Usepre-moistenedtowelettesthataresoldspecificallyformonitorcleaning.Ifthesearenotavailable,youcanusea
non-solventbasedcleanertodampenasoftcloth,butuseitverysparingly.
Cleaningoutdoorcomponents
Useonlyapprovedcleaningproductsforfaceplatecomponents(metal,plastic,glass)exposedtooutdoorenvironments.
Cleaningcomponentexteriors
Systemcomponentscanbecomedirtywithnormaluseandmayrequirecleaning.Tocleancomponentexteriors,dampenasoft
clothwithwateroramildcleaningsolutionandgentlywipeawaydirtfromtheaffectedareas.
