ATG Adhesive Transfer Tape 926 may be

quickly applied to the plastic shroud using the Scotch

ATG 700 applicator.

The liner is removed and rewound in the applicator and the taped shroud is

pressed into place on the frame after the liquid adhesive is applied to the

overlapping edge of the shroud.

Instant bond: Scotch

ATG tape 926 provides a strong, initial bond between

the plastic shroud and the seat frame.

Helps improve productivity: The use of this tape system speeds up assembly,

helping to save time, labor and avoids cracking due to solvent welding.

Process Scotch® ATG Adhesive Transfer Tape 926, is used to temporarily hold the decorative plastic shroud (side panel) to the metal frame of seats until the 3M™ Pronto™ Instant Adhesive CA40H cures. The shrouds are the side panels that attach to the frame between two seats and the tape is applied to the inside of the shroud using a Scotch® ATG 700 Applicator. The armrest pad is then attached to the top of the frame, over the edges of the shrouds.
