Abrasive Grain
This high-performance ceramic mineral
abrasive, patented by 3M, is used for
grinding steel, stainless steel and many
non-ferrous alloys. Produced through sol
gel processing, Cubitron technology
offers exceptional durability, high cut
rates and consistency.
The unique composite microstructures of
the Cubitron grain are designed to
fracture in a controlled manner as they
wear, exposing fresh, sharp edges to the
workpiece. This helps maintain a
consistently-high grinding efficiency
throughout the life of the abrasive.
