Mining Cable Splice Kits, 3100 Series can be used on cables with a rated
Electrical operating temperature of 90° C, and an emergency ov erload rating of 130° C. A splice
Properties constructed using the 3103 kit is rated up to 15 kV. The current rating of the splice
meets or exceeds the current rating for the cables on which it is installed.

NOTE: Overall splice diameters will vary according to cable type and cable
insulation diameter. Splice diameter may be slightly larger than the cable
diameter, dependant on the amount of mining tape build up.
