Adjust speed

You can adjust the speed by which the filament flows out of the pen by sliding the

speed switch. If you want to slow down the filament flow, slide the button to-

wards the small bar. If you want to make the filament flow faster, slide the switch

towards the larger bar

Changing the filament

When you want to switch your color or type of filament, you must first remove

the current filament by reversing it out of the pen. To do this you press the fila-

ment reverse button once. The filament will then be fed out of the pen in reverse

and exit via the filament entrance. Do not pull on the filament during this process

to avoid damaging the interior of the pen. Reversing the filament is an automated

process that stops on its own.

After this you can replace the filament with your new type or color and start

again at step 1 of the instructions.

NOTE: if you change your type of filament, check that the ABS/PLA switch is set

correctly. When you work with PLA filament, the melting temperature needs to be

lower, so you set the switch to ‘PLA’. When you work with ABS or PETG filament,

the melting temperature needs to be higher, so you set the switch to ‘ABS’.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Indicator light doesn’t work:

1. Check power source.

2. Check power supply connection; is the adapter plugged into the power source

and is the USB-cable plugged into the adapter and power socket properly.

Filament is not being fed through:

1. Check that the filament is inserted into the filament entrance properly and far

enough.

2. Check that there is no excess of filament sticking to the print head that is cau-

sing a blockage.
