Alarms Sent Alarms are sent from 3Com Network Administrator to HP OpenView as

Alarm Description
■ Device Backup Success
■ Device Restore Success
■ Device Setup Success
■ Agent Update Success
For every successful device backup, restore,
step and agent update, an alarm is sent to HP
OpenView. Additional information about the
backup operation is included in the alarm
message field.
■ Device Backup Failure
■ Device Restore Failure
■ Device Setup Failure
■ Agent Update Failure
For every device backup that fails, an alarm is
sent to HP OpenView. The reason for the
failure is included in the alarm message field.
