The 3Com OfficeConnect Gigabit VPN Firewall can initiate and terminate up to 50 simultaneous VPNs for

oth site-to-site and user-to-site communication and allows up to 253 users to share secure access to the
Internet through a single connection.
With throughput of up to 500 Mbps for the firewall, and up to 60 Mbps VPN IPSec throughput, the high-
performance OfficeConnect Gigabit VPN Firewall supports time-sensitive applications, keeping information
moving and employees productive. The Gigabit platform is designed to handle the bandwidth demands for
today's large data, voice and multimedia files.
Dual WAN ports support two broadband connections to help ensure minimal business disruptions, providing
load-balancing for maximum throughput and efficiency or failover in the event that the primary ISP connection
fails. The fanless, self-cooling design provides quiet operation, making this product suitable for desktop deploy-
ment.
EASY TO USE
The firewall is designed to be easy to use for the novice user, yet flexible enough for more complicated config-
urations. The intuitive graphical Web user interface makes installation and configuration quick and easy.
Multiple management options provide the flexibility to fine tune security levels where required. Quick access
to monitoring, logging, reporting and analysis tools simplifies intrusion detection and troubleshooting.
