Due to space constraints, the Switch 5500G 2-Port 10G (XFP) Module can accomodate only one
10GBASE-CX4 XFP.

Dual-mode 100BASE-X SFPs provide 100 Mbps fiber connectivity in the last two 1000BASE-X SFP
ports of Switch 5500G models, and in all ports of the 8-Port 1000BASE-X SFP Module.

INFORMATION
Note: Switch 5500G power supply units (PSUs) are changeable and upgradeable. Because of this
flexibility, for unit identification purposes during registration and Service and Support, these non-
orderable SKU references are used:
• 5500-G EI 24-port unit, irrespective of PSU 3CR17254-91
• 5500-G EI 48-port unit, irrespective of PSU 3CR17255-91
• 5500-G EI 24-port SFP unit, irrespective of PSU 3CR17259-91
Power supplies are identified using the SKUs under "Spare Components", above.
