Replacing Cuts with Hot-Key Assignments
When Cuts that are assigned to Hot-Keys are replaced for any reason (Copy, D-NET Transfer, or
Record Overwrite) the Hot-Key Assignments will still exist, and will be assigned to the new
audio. This allows material to be updated without the need for reassigning Hot-Keys. For
instance, hourly promos can be named for their time slot and day of the week. Each week the
new promos can be loaded in from a Zip Disk using the Replace Names option in Copy Disk or
Copy Bank, and will appear at the same places in all Banks and Playlists. Replace Index and D-
NET Receive work the same way, with the added requirement that a numbering system for the
Cuts must be adhered to carefully.
