Adding Events to 2N Attendance System
®
User attendance can be added as follows:
Automatically
The user swipes its access card against an intercom upon arrival (the event is added in
orange) and once again before departure (the event extends and turns ). Theblue
result, however, also depends on the intercom and card reader modes:
If the Check-In Check-Out mode is used, the devices differentiate betweenor
arrivals and departures and collect either IN or OUT events. None of them fulfils
both the functions simultaneously.
If a combined Check-In Check-Out mode is used, the devices do notand
differentiate between arrivals and departures and collect both IN and OUT
events. None of the devices fulfils just one of the two functions.
If the two modes are enabled at the same time, the devices of all the above
types are used simultaneously. This configuration is not recommended.
Therefore, the first two modes are discussed below.
Check-In or Check-Out
In this mode, all the devices differentiate between arrivals and departures. The
resultant attendance obeys the following rules:
(without check-out per day) .Check-in alone is marked orange
(without check-in per day) .Check-out alone is marked purple
in attendance (Check-in plus check-out constitute one complete event
). marked blue
There can be per day, .multiple complete events whose times are added up
If there are multiple check-in events in a sequence (without being interrupted by
a check-out), the .first check-in is always valid
If there are multiple check-out events in a sequence (without being interrupted
by a check-in), the last check-out is always valid.
always The events are evaluated within one day and cannot exceed
. midnight
Check-In and Check-Out
In this mode, none of the devices differentiate between arrivals and departures. The
:resultant attendance obeys the following rules
of the day The first card swipe is regarded as check-in and marked orange
.
Every other .card swipe is regarded as check-out
of the day .The first check-out terminates the event marking it blue
Next of the day .check-out just extends the existing event
Multiple events cannot be created automatically within a day in this
(can only be manually added).mode
The events are always evaluated within one day and cannot exceed
.midnight
